JR Pass from Hiroshima to Kawaguchiko

Can someone suggest the best way to travel from Hiroshima to Kawaguchiko using the JR Rail Pass ?

It depends on the specific time, but if you start Hiroshima at 9:53, Hyperdia shows

you will arrive at 17:20 with extra fee (Fujikyu railway) 1140 yen.

If you start at the same time and drop off at Mishima at 13:55

and then take a bus to Kawaguchiko at 14:10

you will arrive Kawaguchiko at 15:45 with extra bus fare 2260 yen.

If you think your 95 min is valid for extra 1120 yen, you should go by bus from Mishima.
