Otaku and Cosplay in Tokyo 2015/8/9 23:00
hello I wanted to know what time you can usually see the otaku and cosplay .
On some sites indicate other Harajuku Akihabara other Yoyogi Park . If I understand there I find especially in the afternoon ( although it is August I'll find them there Sunday afternoon ? ) .
I guess the ideal time is around 17 when maybe it is better to make cooler or a different time

I saw this on youtube

and this

and especially

as I understand we are the types who dress rockabilly Elvis or sing songs of years ago and finally the Cosplay dress up as characters Manga Otaku and instead dress out of the ordinary .
I expect to see things out of the ordinary and certainly a bit special . I hope not to go there just to see a few people who reflect this. if my expectations do not reflect reality let me see what should I expect and how many thanks ....

You may indeed want to try on a weekend afternoon, particularly Akihabara on a Sunday is probably best for anyone expecting to find some interesting characters.

Hate to burst your bubble, you're many years too late.
The cosplay at Harajuku are dying breed nowadays, you don't get too see it often.
Not in the full force. Yoyogi park on weekend will have people, doing or performing things. Their are just expressing themselves, etc.
The rockabilly dancers can be found at Yoyogi entrance quite often.

You're cosplayer video are thing in the past, no more can you see it. Try your luck at games shows, anime exhibition.

Sunday seems more popular than Saturday, and always weather permitting. Not a lot of material in some of those costumes!
