Purchasing Puratto Kodama

Can I buy puratto kodama ticket from Kyoto to Tokyo at Osaka station instead of at Shinosaka station? A hotel staff at a Osaka hotel said that it can be purchased at Osaka station. Can anyone confirm. Thks.

As far as I know, Puratto Kodama is a "travel package" sold by JR Tokai Tours, so it has to be bought at JR Tokai Tours' branch office (and at latest by the day before your travel day), and in Kansai area, the only JR Tokai Tours branches are located in Shin-osaka and Kyoto statiosns.
