Monkeys in hot water in October? 2015/9/5 09:24
On 25 October i have planned to visit Jigokudani monkeypark.
As the monkeys like tho bath in the hot water during the cold season, I wonder if anyone can tell me if the end of October is cold enough to see monkeys bathe?

I've been in October before, and yes, they'll be bathing then! It isn't as pretty without the snow, but still very nice!

Not cold but just coming everyday.
Also monkey numbers(group/familly) fewer than snow season.

The park adjusts the temperature of the monkey onsen, so in summer it is not as hot.

In winter with snow it is different to the other seasons where you can also appreciate the river and forest. They still have many monkeys as they (park attendants) also provide food (rice).

You can check the web camera on the official site - it has hourly photos from the last two days.
