Aso

I am planning to go visit Aso from Beppu next october. I would like to take train from Beppu to Aso and then bus to Ropeway and back by train to Beppu in the same day.
I don't understand if this is possible or not, cause I don't understand if you can see something if it's not possible to take the ropeway.. I don't want to spend 4 hrs on a train without having the possibility to see something. Can someone help? tks

You will something. The point is, what do you want to see? Cows, horses, rivers?

If you were driving, there are several good places to go, like the Daikanbo lookout and Kuju Flower Park. But if not, I'd suggest you have a back up plan.

no car unfortunately. Only train this is the point. I don't want to loose one day on a train to see nothing.. Thank you
