We plan to visit Nikko on one day trip, using JR pass for tourist from Tokyo to Nikko. From JR Nikko Staion, we would like to go Oku Nikko park. I wonder if we can use JR pass to go to the park (bus/train...) to save the money, or must buy another kind of ticket?

No, the Japan Rail Pass is not valid on any buses or non-JR trains in the Nikko area.
The JR East Pass and JR Kanto Area Pass, however, are valid on local Tobu trains between Tobu-Nikko, Shimo-Imaichi and Kinugawa.

If you are talking about the bus to get to Oku Nikko area, the bus is operated by Tobu (a non-JR company), and they have a Tobu bus pass that you can buy at Tobu Nikko station. A return trip on the bus to Yumoto and back to Nikko station pays off already.
