Kanazawa-shirakawago

Hi there, with the recent changes in timetable, just want to double check if it's viable.

I'll be staying in Kanazawa, so is it possible to book for the buses the day before i go for shirakawa-go day trip?

and from the link below, i can safely assume

i can take the 8.10 bus from Kanazawa to Shirakawago and then take the bus back from Shirakawago to Kanazawa at 1520 or 1720 right?

and last question, if it's just a leisure day trip to explore shirakawago, will i need 6-7 hours there or just 2-3 hours?

Should be no problem booking the day before as long its not like golden week and some other holidays.

You can finish Shirakawago in two to three hours. You could also hop over to the next town if you want to make it six hours but it is basically the same as Shirakawago.
