Fuji Hut Reservation: How early is necessary?

I will be hiking Mt. Fuji this coming climbing season. I would like to stay in a hut around the 8th station. How early do I need to make my reservations?

The reservation begin in May or June, an early reservation is recommended but the most of huts accept late reservation while they have vacant.
Climbing with no reservation is very dangerous.
