Hokkaido Rail Pass value

I need to travel by rail Sapporo-Asahikawa, Asahikawa-Abashiri, Abashiri-Mashuu, Mashu-Kushiro, Kushiro-Minami-Chitose but over 10 days. 10 day Pass is 40,500yen (3+7). How does this compare with normal fares for the above sectors? Thank you
