luggage storage sapporo snow festival

We will travel by train to Niseko in Feb via Sapporo, stopping to see the snow festival with the family.
A few years ago we did the same trip and were able to store our luggage including skis in a dedicated cordoned off area near one exits of the jr sapporo station for about 600 yen each - not in lockers.
Does anyone know if this service is likely to be offered again this year. It was very very convenient.
