One day Tours bus to Takachiho Gorge?

I can not find any tours or ONE day trip tour bus any where.
I will be staying in Hiroshima for a few days at the beginning of April and want to visit the Takachiho Gore with my kids.
I don't read and write Japanese so is kind of hard reading directions and bus time tables.
Can you suggest any bus tours leaving from either Hisoshima, Kumamoto or any other that offer a one day trip without having to worry about transfering and reading japanese signs?

Firstly, Hiroshima is pretty far from there. More than 4 hours one way, i reckon.
Secondly, Takachiho Gorge is more on the off-the-beaten-off type of place. I doubt tours goes there and i surely did not see any tour coaches when i was there.
My feel is that you either have to get a private tour that is costly or find some directions. The latter is not as difficult as you make it sound. Google Maps will help you get to and fro the bus centres. And this website can inform you on how to get from Hiroshima to Takachiho. Probably via Fukuoka or Nobeoka.

You probably won't find any non-Japanese tours to Takachiho.
Easiest would probably be to fly into Miyazaki and rent a car from there.
