One Day Pass for Streetcar & Hakodate bus

Hi.
I will be visiting Hakodate in mid April and planning to use the day pass for the street car & bus.
My question :
- is the 1 day pass activated from the start time the pass is used and valid 24hours from then on? Or is there a start time and end time usage for a single day.

The day passes in Hakodate are based on calendar days, not 24 hour periods.
The only 24-hour based tickets that I am aware of in Japan are for Tokyo Metro and Naha's Yui Rail.
