JR East (Tohoku) pass to Tobu World Square

After sightseeing in Aomori area, would like to take shinkansen to visit the Tobu World Square before returning to Tokyo. Using the JR East Tohoku pass, please advise best city/town to overnight for easy and early start to visit Tobu Square, rather than returning to Tokyo. Will probably look for a Toyoko Inn hotel and wondering whether Utsunomiya, Omiya or somewhere else should be considered.
Also, after Tobu Square, best way using JR east to return to Tokyo. Thank you for your help.

Depends how early you want to leave Aomori. The last Shinkansen only goes to Morioka and the second-last to Sendai (all the others go to Tokyo).
