Public Onsen at Hida Takayama

I will be staying at Hida Takayama , 6 chome , Tenmancho Takayamashi Gifu for 2 night ( 6th Dec - 8th Dec ) . Unfortunately , my hotel does not come with onsen . May I know is there public onsen or hotel that I can walk in , if possible it is walking distance from my hotel.

Takayama is not a traditional onsen resort. Only thanks to modern boring technology have some hotels in Takayama onsen water these days. Because it is not a traditional onsen resort, I am not aware of a public onsen bath.
