Will Mount Moiwa snow in early December?

My family and I are going to Hokkaido on 8 Dec this year. We are staying at Sapporo. My main purpose there is to see snow. I read online that it doesn't snow much at Sapporo in early Dec. Hence, I wanna check if Mount Moiwa will have snow then? Are there any other places in Hokkaido (not too far away from Sapporo) which has snow in early Dec?
