Enquiry on Hokkaido melons 2016/5/24 09:28
Hi everyone,

I will be travelling to Sapporo and Furano in early June next month. May I know if it is possible to buy Yubari melon from Curb market in Sapporo and Furano melon from Tomita Melon Farm? Are both melons in season during my visit in early june?

Thank you.

The website of the stores which sells the Yubari melons at the Sapporo Curb Market says they are sold form early June to early August. http://www.fujimotoseika.com/

It's the Tomita Melon House, not "Farm". You may be too early for the Furano melons. http://www.tomita-m.co.jp/

In both cases you can order them online with delivery in Japan.

I mean you can also order them online, of course, in addition to the physical stores. Might be useful for the Furano ones especially since they apparently go on sale in late June, so if you'll still be in Japan you could get them that way.

Thank you for replying with info!
And sorry that my post went to Travel instead of Food. Not sure why though.
