Hakodate to sapporo?

Which is better to travel from Haneda airport to Hakodate or Sapporo? How do I travel by train either from hakodate to sapporo or vice versa? Need to also visit famous Furano & which is closer to travel from Hakodate or Sapporo? Travelling in july & prefer to travel by train in any part of Japan.

Sapporo has cheaper flights than Hakodate. (This is true from Haneda as well, with Skymark.) However, if you will go to Hokkaido directly after arrival in Japan, you should look into buying a ticket from your home country to Sapporo or HakodatE. In many case, the added cost will be lower than the price of the domestic flight alone.

Actually, even if you limit yourself to big carriers ANA and JAL, Sapporo is still cheaper than Hakodate since it's a very busy route with fierce competition.
