Bus schedules from Fukuoka to Takachiho?

Hi there,

I understand that there are 4 busses a day that run from Fukuoka (Hakata station?) to Takachiho. Does anyone know that exact schedules of those busses, or knows a link (in English, preferably) of those schedules?

Alternatively, if you guys have a better suggestion on how to travel from Fukuoka to Takachiho, that would be much appreciated!

The following schedule was dated last year, not sure if it is the same this year.

It is a long way from Fukuoka. It is normally better accessed from Kumamoto (120min) or Nobeoka (60mins).

From memory there isn't an English timetable as it isn't a popular destination to outside visitors. I could be incorrect on that.

Looks like a 3h57m trip from Hakata to Takachiho. And there is 2 return trips a day. 2 there, 2 back.
