Lockers for luggage at Gokurakubashi

Hi,
I am travelling to Japan later this year. Part of my trip includes travelling from Nara to Mt Koya and then to Tokyo. I have read that you cannot really take luggage on the cable car. Are there lockers at the Gokurakubashi? If not what about Namba (Nankai) or Shimamiya stations? Thank you for your assistance.

Where did you read that? At least smaller bags of luggage certainly can be taken onto the cable car! But I would be surprised if even larger suitcases are prohibited on the cable car.

In any case, if you have a large suitcase that you do not need on your side trip to Koyasan, I recommend to store it at a coin locker at Namba Station (or somewhere else in central Osaka) for the sake of comfort.
