Tateyama-Kurobe route accommodation

We are traveling through Tateyama Kurobe alpine route around 2nd week of October.
Are there any other accommodations around the middle of the route (not the two hotels which are fully booked already)?
We just want to have more time to explore the area and more activities such as little hiking.
Could you guys please recommend?
