Hi. I understand that quite a few knife makers are based in Toyama. My favourite knife maker is Sukenari. I would love to be able to buy direct from them. They supposedly have a few retail stores in Toyama. Does anyone know their location/hours?

I checked the street view for the Toyama address and it just looks like a house. Do you know for sure if they sell to the public?
Also, been to the Nagoya outlet?
I'm in Kyoto now and willing to do a side trip, but I only speak english

I have never been, but yes, it's the house looking building with the blue sign. https://www.google.com/maps/@36.6975554,137.2106159,3a,37.5y,308.3h,95...The Nagoya store is the one with the green awning next to the red building. https://www.google.com/maps/@35.1693301,136.8890783,3a,75y,347.72h,96....

Thanks all. I ended up going to the Nagoya store. They had so many knives! I bought my dream knife from them, a Sukenari ZDP-189 270mm gyuto. The price was a little more than I can get them online, but this may have more to do with the Aussie dollar than anything else.
