Bikes on ferry - Imabari 2016/7/24 19:00
Hi,
I plan to rent a bike from Imabari JR, then catch a ferry to Habu Port, then ride the Shimanami Kaido back to Imabari.
Does any know if bikes are allowed on this ferry?

thanks

I could rent from Habu, but I wouldn't get my Y1000 deposit back

Only 2 ferries are Not.

With orange "o/circle" dep 7:55 and 14:30 are so.
今治(港) : Imabari (-kou/port,pier)
土生(港) : Habu
No need option fee but bike space is not unlimited.
自転車 : jitensya(bike,cycle)
Lower fare ( ) means "around discount".

Ferry company name is "Geiyo-kisen/芸予汽船".
芸 means old Hiroshima area name short of "安芸/aki".
予 means old Ehime area name short of "伊予/iyo".
汽船 means "ferry" in this case.
"船/sen,fune" means ship,ferry,boat and more.

乗船券発売所/jousen-ken hatsubaisyo(ticket sales office)
乗客待合室/joukyaku machiai-shitsu(passenger waiting space/room)

Hi Mtal,
thank you very much for your help!
Unfortunately the 6.25am is too early, and the 9.40am too late. I'll get the 7.55am to Habu, rent a bike there, and forego my Y1000 deposit.
thanks again :)
