Ryokan+Koyo leaves in late November

Hello everyone. Me and my girlfriend are going to stay at a ryokan, but our only available days go from November 21st-23rd.
Lake Kawaguchi has especially picked our interest since there are many rooms with special views towards Mt. Fuji but we'd also like to enjoy the autumn leaves. Is November 21st too late for that at Fujikawaguchiko?
If so, what are the best places where we could enjoy a ryokan and the autumn colors during late november?

This website has a whole section on when and where to see the autumn leaves - take a look there. There will be several places where you can see leaves at that time.
