Alpine Route

Hi

I would like to check if I stay in TAKAYAMA best western hotel during my stay on 15th November 2016 to 17th Nov...
Is there pickup at my hotel place ? I wanted to go to ALPIPNE route.
Please help assist and advise. Thanks

You need to go up through Toyama.

Hello Mr San, nice to know you are staying in that hotel. I stayed in that hotel before! Their soba was great!
As far as i know they do not have pick up service, though you could give them a call/drop them an email. Even if they do not, the train station is within walking distance.

If you are planning to take the Alpine Route by Nouhi Bus, the service is until October 11, 2016 only http://tinyurl.com/z6fp3hv.

So the only way to get to Alpine Route is from Toyama, almost 2.5 hour train ride from Takayama via JR Takayama Line. I'll be going there on a later date hoping weather permits the travel. Toyama to Tateyama train and Alpine Route tickets are sold separately based from what I searched thru google.

Unless you would rent a car so to request a pick up from your hotel all the way to Toyama or Tateyama(?). You make sure do your own due diligence or search thru google.
