Kanazawa shinkansen booking

Hi,
We arrive in Tokyo on 22 November and want to travel to Kanazawa on the 25th. Do you think I'll have trouble getting a train booking if I do it on arrival or the next day? I think the 23 November is a public holiday?

No, I don't think you will have troubles. There are likely going to be vacant seats on many trains. And note that seat reservations are not even required on the Hakutaka trains.

For peace of mind, you can make a booking from Tokyo to Joetsu-Myoko online, and then book Joetsu-Myoko to Kanazawa when you arrive, especially if you will have a rail pass.
