Early April 2017 in Hokkaido 2016/8/21 23:33
I'm planning my fourth trip to Japan next year, and would like to visit Hokkaido for the very first time. For this part of my trip I have one week. Considering it is quite north, what are the best attractions for this time of year? Thank you very much.

Early April is kind of in between seasons for Hokkaido. too early for flowers and a little late for Ski. There will still be snow around, but if you consider skiing, some of the chair lifts might have stopped service, and some of the shops would have closed for the season. Good thing will be there would be less crowd.

Would highly recommend, including Honshu in your itinerary where Cherry Blossom is in season.
