Fall at Kurobe Gorge & Tateyama

When is the best time to see fall foliage at Kurobe Gorge and on the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route?

I ask because when I visited Toyama last year I was told I missed the colors by just a few days. When I arrived the colors were gone, it was all just brown and dead.

I live in Toyama now, so I can visit whenever.

As someone in Toyama if you live there.

I visited the Kurobe gorge early Nov a few years ago, and it was the best koyo I had ever experienced.
It is hard to predict the perfect timing. However, you are very lucky to reside in Toyama. You just need to contact them at the end of Oct, and visit the area according to the latest information.
