End of Kansai Thru Pass? Need clarification

I looked at the Kansai Thru Pass web site in English and Japanese. Perhaps I am not reading one correctly, but there appears to be a conflicting information regarding its effective period. Can someone clarify?

English site says that Spring-Summer ticket sales period is 4/1 to 9/30 of each year and it is valid until 10/31 of each year. For Autumn-Winter edition, sales period is 10/1 to 3/31, and validity period is 10/1 to 4/30.

Japanese site says that sale ends 9/30/2016. Period.
There is no mention of any follow on or next season.

Japanese site is for Japanese.
English site is for you! So you can get the ticket for Autumn-Winter 2016-2017!

The website you noted is for the limited version of Kansai Thru Pass which is designated for the local people staying out of Kansai district.
Kansai Thru Pass for the foreign visiters is the one which website in English shows.
So there's no worrying about it.
