Is Korankei worth visiting in the summer?
All the reviews I read and photos I saw are from the fall.
I would like to take the Toyota Oiden Bus to Korankei in the morning.
Then I would like to take it back in the late afternoon.
Where can I purchase bus tickets?
And can I purchase them ahead of time?
How long of a hike is it from one parking lot to the other along the river?
How long of a hike is it from the parking lot to Mount Iimori?

Korankei comes to life in autumn, but summer? In my opinion, it would be a waste of time and effort.

Asuke Castle is actually a nice site that would be just as nice in the summer as in the autumn. Asuke has a small historic area, too, and it would be much less crowded (possibly no other tourists), which can be nice.
I don't know about the mountain hiking.
