Hokkaido travelling for May 2017

Hi,
I am travelling to Hokkaido for 20/05/17 - 27/05/17.
Wondering is there any Sakura for viewing at that time, as I saw some of the blogger mentioning there is a delay of Sakura blossom in Noboribetsu, any idea when is the blossom in 2016.
In order to utilised the JR pass, I decided to visit the Shiba Sakura by railway and bus. Should I go for Takinou Park & Kamiyubetsu Park or Higashimokoto Park & Kamiyubetsu Park? Which one is more convenience to plan on for?
