Train passes

Arrival will be on March 30th and we will leave on April 13th. Amount of People: 4
Headquarters will be Tokyo. The itinerary so far is to have us spend 6 days in Tokyo(there is also a trip to Fuji with Japanican in there), followed by day visits to Yokohama and Nikko before traveling to Kyoto/Osaka/Himeji for 3 days and then returning to Tokyo.
My problem is I am trying to figure out the most efficient use of rail passes for this trip.
The 3 Day Kansai Thru pass when we go to Kyoto seems to be a no-brainer but I am unsure on what else to use. Maybe a Seishun 18 Kippu, 7 Day JR Rail Pass? Pasmo IC Card? Tokyo JR Wide Pass seems good at first but it is only valid for 3 days.
Any help would be appreciated.

The is a Nikko day/2 day pass available.
Also inexpensive return shinkansen to Kyoto/Osaka also through Japanican.
Only if you are going to Himeji will a Kansai through pass pay itself off over the 2 or 3 days.
Other days, just a IC card.
