When will you travel?
Where do you plan to stay overnight?
You can visit Magome and Tsumago on your way from Kyoto to Kawaguchiko,
but it does not sound ideal to plan also to enjoy the Kawaguchiko lakeside on the same day.
You need
about 1 and a half to 2 hours to get from Kyoto to Nakatsugawa
and about 4 to 5 hours to get from Nagiso via Otsuki to Kawaguchiko,
including time on waiting when you change trains.
There are only infrequent connections
by bus between Magome and Tsumago
and by rail between Nagiso and Kawaguchiko.
