Kansai airport to Kyoto

Hi all,

I will be arriving at Kansai at 8.30 am. Our hotel is in the center of Kyoto (Grand Bach).

I've seen numerous options pass by for transport between the hotel and our hotel. I am having a hard time figuring out which to use giving our further travel plans. We have 4 nights in Kyoto. During out time in Kyoto we are thinking of getting the Kintetsu to Nara (for half a day or longer). After our days in Kyoto we will take the Thunderbird to Kanazawa.

Is this Haruka ticket the one I need? I also found this one:

With this Kintetsu pass, do I understand correct that I can travel from Kansai to Kyoto, around Kyoto and also back and forth to Nara?

What differences/details am I missing? Can you perhaps advice me? Also, do I buy these right now (online beforehand) or just on arrival at Kansai at the morning of arrival?

As the map shows in the very link you gave, Kintetsu doesn't go to KIX. Also, sadly, you can't ride limited express trains just with the pass now.
