How much to bring for 6 days and skiing?

Hi!

I'm travelling to Sapporo from 02-08 Feb and I'm not really sure how much to bring and where to go.

I've noted down a couple of events that I shouldn't miss, if there's more please let me know??? :)

1. Sapporo snow festival
2. Otaru snow festival
3. Asahikawa winter festival

I'd wanna ski too! But not sure where is good and probably within the Budget? I've saw some nearby Sapporo ski sites, any more suggestions anyone???

It's my first time seeing snow and first time in Japan!! Hope it'll be a blast! ☺
