travelling pass in tokyo osaka and kyoto

If I visit tokyo (disney and shibazukara festival), Osaka and Kyoto, what is the best travelling pass to buy i.e:
(a) Pasmo and JR Rail Pass
OR
(b)Pasmo and shinakanse train ticket tokyo-osaka (and return)

It depends on the number of days and your itinerary when in each city.
You might even consider IC card or regional pass then overnight bus or flying if that will make the travel lesser expensive or more efficient.
