Accommodation at Hamanoura no tadana, Saga

I have a plan to go to Fukuoka in this coming May. I want to go to Hamanoura no tanada to take photos of rice terrace. I want to stay overnight there because I prefer to take photo during sunrise and sunset.

Where I can stay? Is there any accommodation in that area? Or any others in the distance of walk? (To get there in the early morning and leave there late evening, I want to walk, if possible.)

I could search the nearest hotels are in Karatsu but it is about 20 kms. which is not appropriate for walking.

However, if there is no choice, I am thinking the option of renting a car. Where is the nearest city I can rent. (Karatsu?)

うえだ民宿 is a minshuku less than 25 min walk north of Hamanoura no Tanada observation area.

The best is to hire a car at Karatsu station. Driving won't be difficult. In May, especially at sunset time, the rice terrace area may be crowded by photographers. There're 2 car parks nearby.
You'll also include Takashima Island, Irohajima, Hado Cape, etc for photo taking when you drive.
