hi anyone,

i need help form adviser here, my friends suddenly decided to go to japan this saturday, which wil be arrival in osaka then in these day too wil go to to tokyo then kyoto then osaka.
( because they are gotta wrong directions beacuse they are really new with japan n blind spot to start and end for ).

what kind of pass will suit this route? instead there is no enough time to buy JR PASS.
they wil be in tokyo for 4nights, kyoto 2nights, osaka 4nights.
their need pass which is covered shinkansen from osaka to tokyo and any ltd exp , subway inside tokyo ( yamanote line ) , also will be going to mount fuji.

they wish to go to shirakawago to but too sad already booked accomodation in tokyo. osaka ,kyoto.

i know there ways to go but so limit time in just within one day ( kyoto - kanazaw - shirakawago - kanazawa - kyoto or tokyo - shin takaoka -shira - kanazawa - kyoto.
is it possible ?

Getting to Shirakawago - http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e5953.html. Make sure you use the drop-down option.

Depending on your arrival time, you can fly from KIX to Tokyo or shinkansen from Shin-Osaka or overnight bus from Osaka.

i was wondering what kind of pass will suit bettter for this route,
gonna using shinkansen for long distant and another likes tokyo, osaka, kyoto metro/local/subway

If they cannot buy Japan Rail Pass, then consider flights. At this moment, some KIX-NRT flights are much cheaper than Shinkansen. Even ANA flights might be cheaper.

If you are still planning to use JR PASS:

JAPAN RAIL PASS will be sold at some sales offices in Japan from March 8, 2017 to March 31, 2018.

Pass not required. Single tickets are cheaper/about the same.

Your trip to Fuji - actual Fuji or Hakone (via Odakyu railways)?

they make it on time to processing JR PASS, so they will gonna use JR PaSS for all of the route..
