Fuji Rock - Experience?

hey - we are planning to go to Fuji Rock and wondered if anyone can give advice. Camping would be awesome and i have heard that the facilities are far better than you would expect in western festivals. I can imagine the locals would be horrified by the plastic portaloos in Europe! Ok to bring children?

Camping seems to be prohibited. Naeba is one of the first class resorts in Japan, run by the Price group.

There's plenty to do for kids and almost every area has areas where there's plenty of space for your kids to be. White Stage is the only one that can get dicey, as sometimes the acts there are much more popular than what it can accommodate.

Facilities are well taken care of, but mostly because the people who go tend to be more orderly. It's still porta-potties, etc.

Plan to arrive as early as you can on Thursday and then plan to spend all day Monday traveling back to wherever you're going to (probably Tokyo, for example).
