Hi! I am going to take my internship program in Chiba's plant factory this June for 1 month, alone.
Can you suggest dormitories around Chiba University that is very NEAR, CHEAP and SAFE (with heater..). I would prefer places near convenience store or a lot of cheap eateries.
And how can I get to Chiba like, should I rent a bike or train? Thank you!

Chiba University has three campuses in Chiba Prefecture.
¥Nishi Chiba
¥Matsudo
¥Kashiwa
Which one will you go?
If you tell me the campus, I'll be able to give advice.
