A clear answer to your question is shown in this Japan Guide article. - Access and Orientation : How to travel between Shirakawago and Nagoya http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e5953.html?aFROM=2155_5950A highway bus line, which is operated by Gifu Bus, connects Shirakawa Village (in Gifu Pref.) and Nagoya City (in Aichi Pref.) in around 3 hours, with some stops on the way. The one-way fare is 3900 yen per adult. A seat reservation is necessary as for buses on this line, which can be made from the day one month prior to the boarding date via a travel agency on the website. http://willerexpress.com/st/178/en/pc/bus/route/calendar.php?oR=251400...Dep. 14:05 15:15 15:35 Hatogaya (in Shirakawa Village). Dep. 14:20 15:30 15:50 Shirakawa-go Bus Terminal (Ogimachi district). Arr. 17:21 18:14 18:34 Meitetsu Bus Center (in Nagoya City). : Here other bus stops are omitted. - Gifu Bus : Leaflet (in Japanese) regarding Shirakawago highway bus line: back side http://www.gifubus.co.jp/highway/shirakawa/tt_shirakawago.pdfI would like to leave Shirakawago to Nagoya on 28 June. Around the end of June, the Tokai sub-region is very likely to be in the rainy season. Please take rain gears, though it may not be rainy all the time every day. - Japan Guide: Rainy Season (Tsuyu) http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2277.html
