Hi there; I know that many onsen do not allow tattoos. I am asking specifically for the nyuto onsens; tsurunoyu to be more specific. Does anyone know if they allow that in those onsens?

I did not see any notice that tattoo was not allowed. Interestingly they have a beautiful Kashikiri next to the river for staying guess only . No one is to know if you have tattoo when using this facility.

Thank you -- to be more specific as well, I will be doing a day trip to these onsen from Akita, and the last thing I want is to get all the way there for them to reject me... My tattoos cannot be covered (legs) as the tattoos are too large of an area. If any one else has any other experiences please post!
