Hida-Furukawa Station cover by JR east Pass?

Hi, planning for a trip to Hida-Furukawa Station. I will be buying the JR east pass . as i google, i think JR east pass will being me to Takayama Station, does it allow me to go further north to Hida-Furukawa Station? or i need to come out extra for the train trip to Hida-Furukawa Station? thanks

The JR East Pass exists in two versions; none of them gets you to Takayama, which is JR Central territory.

It seems the closest the JR East Pass can get you is Joetsumyoko Station.

From there, the cheapest way that is also practical is to take the Shinkansen to Toyama Station and transfer to the Takayama Line to Inotani Station where you can transfer once more to reach HidaFurukawa Station. If you do not reserve the Shinkansen seat, it will cost 5940 yen one way.

I suppose it work in this way, eg i take the 750am bus at Matsumoto, i should reach takayama at 1050am. Am i right?

As i will be holding a JR east pass, I am allow to purchase a round trip ticket at 4500 yen at Narita Airport.

As i am arriving at Narita T1, any possible it is also available in Narita T1 JR office? If cannot, any possibility that the ticket might sold out at Matsumoto Bus Terminal on the actual day which is a wednesday, early Dec this year.

Also will it be difficult to purchase at Matsumoto Bus Terminal which only japanese only.
