I will be going from Ikutora to Furano station in July 2017. I have take a bus to Higashi Shikagoe station to change to Furano station. Is Higashi Shikagoe JR station operating? I cannot find the station when I searched for train schedule.

The section of the Nemuro Main Line between Higashi-Shikagoe and Shintoku, which includes Ikutora, is not operating. You need to take a bus from Ikutora (Šô“Ð) to Higashi-Shikagoe (“ŒŽ­‰z), whence you can take a train to Furano (•x—Ç–ì).
