Vanilla Air Hokkaido Free Pass

Hi everyone,

When is day 1 for the Vanilla Air Hokkaido Free Pass? Is it on the day you purchase it or can I choose my day 1? Also is the 4day or 5day Vanilla Air Hokkaido Free Pass, consecutive days?

I looked through all the following pages. It seems they are a kind of connecting passes from Peach/Vanilla to JR. All their model courses start from New Chitose Airport and the clock does not stop even using a car or a ferry. So, the pass should start your arrival day and last until the designated consecutive days would end. As I said this is a JR promotion. They expect to go out from the airport by JR. It appears JR recommend to do Sapporo and others just before you come back.

Thank you Luisjp! I will be arriving at CTS Airport on 7/24 so I should be able to use the Vanilla Air 5-day pass until 7/28.

I have additional questions, Luisjp.

About the Furano-Biei Rail Pass for 6,500 yen which I plan to purchase for my 7/29 trip.
1) Can I buy this pass at the JR Office in New Chitose Airport?
2) Can I buy it in advance? Like buy it on 7/24 when I arrive in CTS but only use it on 7/29?
3) I read from the below link that I can ride the unreserved seat at the Limited Express train. The pdf made mention of Lilac and Kamui trains. Is the Furano-Biei Rail Pass also valid for the Limited Express OKHOTSK and Soya trains?

Are taxis available at Nakafurano and Kamifurano stations? I plan to take a taxi from Nakafurano to Lavender East Farm and take a taxi from Kamifurano to Flower Land Kamifurano. If taxis are available from these stations, how much will it cost me?

Here is the original site. There are no clear answers to yours. I believe the Furano Biei Rail Ticket should be a rather normal ticket. The time you get one, the ticket should start its clock up to four days. So, you could not buy one for 7/29 at CTS. The ticket should be valid on all limited express trains. No sections for Lilac and Kamui in the original.

It is in the peak of the tourist season. There should be some taxis at the stations. But, because of the very high demands, you might have some difficulties to catch a taxi there. Taxi fares should be in a range of 1k to 2k yen.
