These two places seem to be not so far as judged on the map, but they are separated by steep mountains. Therefore, there is no direct bus. Your best bet should be 1. take bus to Takaragaike and 2. then transfer to Eizan dentetsu train to Kurama. You may better check with Arukumachikyoto which is very convenient when you plan your trip in Kyoto. Below is one example.

I have not done this myself, but according to an internet site, the line 55 started service since March 18, 2017, instead of the line 95 bound directly for Kurama which stopped service in 2012, with the only exception of one way run a year on March 21, at 10:50.

The line 55 is not for Kurama, but Kibuneguchi, one stop before Kurama of the Eizan electric train line. So you can take a bus at Ohara to go to Kibuneguchi station, and there you must change for the Eizan electric train line, for Kurama station.

For Kibuneguchi from Ohra, you have three bus departures:
(at Ohara bus center)
11:16
14:16
16:10

See this site (in Japanese).
