Hakone Ropeway between Sounzan and Owakudani

I plan a trip to Hakone this weekend and thought of taking the Hakone Ropeway from Sounzan to Owakudani. Because of vulcanic gases, it might be closed but I am not sure. This is the message I read on their website: http://www.hakoneropeway.co.jp/foreign/en/info_img/6_pdf.pdf4Can anyone confirm whether or not the Hakone Ropeway between Sounzan and Owakudani is open at the moment?

It has been completely opened for 6-9 months now.

No problem to go to Owakudani . We went last week. But After that if you go to lake Ashi for round course you have to take.a bus. Some reparations of rope way

Maintenance rather than gases, but it should be finished by now (25th I think it was scheduled until). I visited 10-12 days ago and substitute bus is ok (I've used it in 2016), but not as good as the rope-way trip.
