Will Shiretoko be opened in late Nov?

Hello,

We're a family of 4 adults and 2 children heading to NorthEast Hokkaido between 17 November to 2 December 2023. Heard that Shiretoko pass would be close earlier this year in mid-November.

We are still keen to explore the national park; will it be opened around end November 2023?

End November doesn�ft sound like the best time of the year to be in Hokkaido. Too late for koyo , too early for snow, but risk of snow.

Shiretoko is a remote area. What are you going to do there in the early winter?
