Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route

Dear Friends,

Are Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route and Kurobe Gorge Railway doable/advisable in mid to late November (24)? Will it be too cold? I assume the fall colors will be long gone by then.

They are both open till end November, but I was wondering if they would be more worthwhile in warmer months of May/June?

Hi Pierre, did you manage to visit Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route or Kurobe Gorge Railway at the end of November 2023?

I am planning to go around 21 November and I'm worried of it being too cold. From what I read online, Korobe Gorge will be less cold and snowy, so I am thinking of visiting that.

Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route looks amazing but much more snowy and need more thick winter clothing?
