Hello, may I inquire about the total cost if I opt for the Hakone Freepass + Romance Car combination?
Is it (A):
Hakone Freepass: 6,100 Yen
Romance Car: 2,470 Yen
Total cost = 8,570 Yen
Or is it (B):
Hakone Freepass: 6,100 Yen
Romance Car: 1,200 Yen (uncertain if 1,270 Yen is included in the Hakone Freepass)
Total cost = 7,300 Yen

It is B. The base fare is covered. You need to pay only the express supplement of 1200 yen one way.

you already understood odakyu rail shinjuku to odawara st base fare =1270 yen
Limited express train surcharge =1200 yen
If u buy romance car eticket=1150(50yen off)
Journey time=80 minutes by odakyu railway
