Leave Japan and return back

I have been stay in Japan nearly 1 year, and 1 month before my Resident Card expire I want to visit my home country for 2 week and come back. How can I go back to Japan? Is there any visa or process require before leave Japan or when I enter back to Japan? Or I can just enter japan normally.

Resident status..not visa. what is your current resident status/zairyu card, when will it expired?
You cannot return to Japan if your resident status expired. You will need a new visa.

For short stay outside Japan(return within 1 year), you will need to get Special Re-entry permit, which can be done at the airport. return to Japan before your resident status expired.

Anything longer than 1 year, you will need to apply for Re-entry Permit at immigration office.
